Our veterinary support staff is made up of employees as interesting, fun, and individual as the patients we serve.

Emily.

Emily pauses for a moment in her busy grooming schedule

Emily has been working at Brentwood Animal Hospital since autumn 2004. She began working as a certified veterinary assistant and has worked every position at Brentwood Animal Hospital including groomer. She was formally trained and certified at The Maryland School of Dog Grooming during the winter of 2004. Since then she has been evolving the basics of dog grooming to contemporary cuts for all pets. She prides herself in seeking education regarding a broad spectrum of holistic and soothing treatments for your pet hoping to create a therapeutic "spaw" day for them. You can always find her lurking about the hospital or sitting at the front desk ready to welcome you with a warm smile.

Marquis.

Michael has known Dr Manzoor since the "fin de siècle " (as he jokes) and has worked for him on various projects since 2000. Three cats own him, including one adopted from Brentwood Animal Hospital's good friends at Alley Cat Rescue (www.SaveACat.org), and keep him guessing what they'll deign to eat next. Michael is justifiably proud of the teammates he has the honor to work with.

Shanice.

Shanice makes friends with Bella, who has received a
special color treatment from our groomer, Emily. It can
last several days to several weeks depending on hair
type, number of shampoos and a few other factors.

Shannon recently moved back to this area from Tennessee where she completed training as a certified nursing assistant and was a home health aide. She became interested in working with animals during time spent volunteering with a humane society near Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. She now lives on her parents' farm with her bouncy dog, River, who thinks he is a herding breed. Shannon is such an excellent team member she was selected as Employee of the Month in her first month working here and was promoted to Lead Technician after just six months! She has excelled in her new position and continuously strives to improve our standard of care.

Shannon checks over lab reports. The usually serious business is made a light-hearted moment
because none of the patients being checked for intestinal parasites came up positive owing to
Brentwood Animal Hospital's diligence in ensuring our patients get the proper preventive care.
